What type of events are best for a mentalist performance?
Jasper provides a range of performance types. Stage magic that caters well for most corporate functions. Parlor or Platform Magic are well suited for smaller private celebrations and close-up roving mentalism works well for engaging small groups in cocktail situations. In general, mind reading magic or mentalism will not be suitable for a celebration involving young children.
Are mind reading performances suitable for weddings?
Weddings are always magical days and while it is quite a good idea to have some entertainment for your guests – in most cases weddings involves the younger ones. Our team has performed magic at a number of weddings and in our experience, magic makes for a better option. Particularly roving magic that will entertain all guests, young and old can be a non intrusive entertainment option that doesnt steal the limelight from the wedding couple. A formal 30 minutes close up magic performance is most suitable for intimate dinner parties. Ideally, the show caters well for 10 pax or less. Unlike usual walk around / roving performances, where the magician only performs 3 – 5 minutes per group, guests witness a full 30 minutes performance up close and personal.
